Dr. Roger Wu is the Founder of 20Slash20, Inc., an optometrist, and a serial entrepreneur with a career spanning more than 25 years. Since beginning his practice in 1997, he has pioneered innovations in eye care, including developing the first AI software designed to monitor all risk factors of Digital Eye Strain and dry eye among device users. Early in his career, Dr. Wu practiced at Foothill Eye Surgical Center in Pasadena and Puente Hills Eye Care Center in the Los Angeles suburbs before opening his first private practice in 2005.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Wu has observed a troubling rise in dry eye cases and early macular changes, often in younger patients. Recognizing the lack of effective solutions to both address these issues and improve patient compliance, he created The Eye Drink — the world’s first ready-to-drink functional beverage formulated specifically for ocular health. Using proven ingredients from the landmark AREDS 2 study, combined with vegan-friendly Omega-3, The Eye Drink helps relieve dry eye symptoms while offering superior bioavailability and taste in a liquid format. Dr. Wu believes it represents the most effective and practical way to support eye health and prevent vision problems caused by excessive screen time.
